San Diego Alumnae Chapter History

Founded in 1928, the San Diego Alumnae Chapter provides a social experience for local Thetas and offers a chance to participate in local philanthropy events in San Diego County.

The San Diego Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta is comprised of a diverse group of women. Each member of the chapter brings her own unique qualities and experiences to our sisterhood. Our members are women who love Theta and love what we are able to give back to our community and local collegiate chapters of Gamma Sigma/San Diego State Univ., Zeta Rho/UC San Diego and Eta Iota/Univ. of San Deego) women with our time, gifts, and loyalty.

Theta is for a lifetime. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual, and moral growth as she meets the higher demands of mature life.
